Quarrier Volleyball Finishes Dak-12 Tourney with 2-1 Record

The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team finished with a 2-1 record at the Dak-12 Conference Tournament in Vermillion on Saturday, October 19th.  The Quarriers played Tri-Valley, Canton, and Dakota Valley at the tournament.

Dell Rapids 2, Tri-Valley 0

The Quarriers took a straight set win over the Tri-Valley Mustangs by scores of 25-20 and 25-14.  Sophi Randall finished with 18 set assists, five digs, three kills, and two blocks.  Madelynn Henry had 11 kills and three digs.  Lauryn Kloth added four kills and four blocks.  Clara Justice also had four kills with two blocks.  Alaina Wolff had five digs and two ace serves.  Karlie Ingalls and Peyton Hohn both had three kills each.

Dell Rapids 2, Canton 0

The Quarriers faced the Canton C-Hawks in the second match and won in straight sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-16.  Randall ended with 18 set assists, five digs, four kills, and two ace serves.  Justice finished with three kills, three ace serves, and four digs.  Henry added nine kills and two digs.  Kloth had four kills and four blocks.  Ingalls also had four kills with two digs.  Wolff ended with seven digs and six set assists.  Hohn had five kills.

Dakota Valley 2, Dell Rapids 0

The Panthers would take the final match against the Quarriers in straight sets.  Dakota Valley won 25-20 and 25-18.  Randall finished with 21 set assists, eight digs, four kills, and three blocks.  Ingalls had four kills and four digs.  Kloth ended with three kills and three blocks.  Wolff had five digs and three set assists.  Henry added 10 kills.  Hohn had five kills, and Justice had four digs.
