The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team wrapped up a busy week with three more wins on Saturday, September 21st at the Hamlin Tournament. The Quarriers earned wins over Tiospa Zina, Groton, and Hamlin.
Dell Rapids 2, Tiospa Zina 0
The Quarriers cruised to a straight set win over Tiospa Zina by scores of 25-5 and 25-12. Lauryn Kloth, Madelynn Henry, and Sophi Randall all had four kills each. Caelee LeBrun finished with three kills, and Sylea Sykes had two kills. Alaina Wolff finished with four ace serves and four digs. Brielle Hilmoe, LeBrun, and Jocelyn Amundson all had two ace serves. Peyton Hohn added three digs, and Randall had seven set assists. Sykes also had seven set assists.
Dell Rapids 2, Groton 0
Dell Rapids also had a straight set win over the Groton Tigers. The first set was close at 25-23, but the Quarriers took the second set with a bigger margin of victory at 25-15.
Randall had 17 set assists, three digs, and two ace serves. Henry finished with nine kills and five digs. Karlie Ingalls also had five kills. Clara Justice added three kills and two digs. Elin Schoenhard had two kills, two ace serves, and two blocks. Wolff had seven digs and four set assists.
Dell Rapids 2, Hamlin 0
The Quarriers had another straight-set victory over the Hamlin Chargers. They cruised to a 25-10 win in the first set. The second set was much closer and needed extra points, but Dell Rapids took the win 26-24.
Henry tallied 14 kills and five digs. Randall had nine digs and 14 set assists. Kloth finished with four kills and seven blocks. Wolff had six digs and three set assists. Ingalls had two kills and seven digs, and Justice finished with three blocks.
