The Dell Rapids Quarrier competitive cheer team participated in the Brookings Competitive Cheer Invite on Saturday, September 21st. Twenty-two teams took part in the event, and the Quarriers finished 13th. Of those 22 teams, only six of them were Class A schools.
The Quarriers finished with 198 points, which was third among the Class A schools. Sioux Valley had the top Class A score with 238 points. Dell Rapids St Mary had 224.5 points. The other Class A schools competing were Elkton-Lake Benton (189.5), Deubrook (182.5), and Wanger (159). Harrisburg place first among all the schools with 284.5 points.
