Last season the Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team finished 28-7 overall, second in the conference, third at the conference tournament, and had a third place finish at the State A tournament. This season the Quarriers are vying for a state title.
The Quarriers return seniors Clara Justice, Lauryn Kloth, and Sophi Randall, juniors Peyton Hohn, Karlie Ingalls, and Elin Schoenhard, sophomores Jocelyn Amundson, Madelynn Henry, and Alaina Wolff, and freshmen Brielle Hilmoe and Sylea Sykes for this season.
“We have big goals this season. Playing in an extremely tough Dak XII Conference, our season schedule, and tournament schedule is challenging. As such the team is looking to use the regular season to hone our skills in preparation for a long run into the post season, including a return to the state tournament as well as vying for a state championship,” said head coach Erica Fersdahl.
