Dell Rapids PBR turned a 1-0 lead into an 11-4 victory over Colman on Sunday, July 14th.
PBR scored a run in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 until the top of the sixth inning. Dell Rapids scored four times in the sixth, two in the seventh, and three in the eighth for a 10-0 lead. Colman would get four runs in the bottom of the eight, and Dell Rapids scored one more in the ninth.
Drew Sweeter had a single, double, and triple with five RBIs. Trey Randal had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Weston Hansen also had three hits, with a double, and an RBI. Matt Gillogly had three singles and an RBI. Conner Spindler added three hits. Beau Behrend finished with two singles. Riley Hoffman had a hit and an RBI. Tanner Solberg also had a hit.
Joe Rechtenbaugh pitched six shutout innings allowing just three hits with seven walks and three strikeouts. Grant Sweeter pitched two innings and allowed four runs, three earned, on three hits and a walk. Gillogly pitched one inning allowing one walk.
