The Dell Rapids Red 14U team had no trouble with Sioux Falls Christian White at home on Tuesday, July 9th, taking the win 14-1.
Dell Rapids led just 1-0 after two innings of play. They then put in a huge 13 runs in the bottom of the third for a 14-0 lead. Sioux Falls Christian White scored a run in the top of the fourth before the game was called on a run rule.
Edgar Vazquez had three hits, one a double, and an RBI. Jacob Geraets had two doubles and four RBIs. Camden Jones had two hits, including a double, with four RBIs. Haiden Kaffar added two singles and two RBIs. Boden Mailey had a single with two RBIs. Pano Skiliris finished with a hit and an RBI. Hudson Wolff also had a hit. Kaffar pitched four innings and allowed an earned run on four hits with three strikeouts.
