The Humboldt/Hartford legion team out-hit Dell Rapids, but the Phils took the win 7-1 on Tuesday, June 25th.
Dell Rapids broke a scoreless game with three runs in the top of the third. Humboldt/Hartford got their lone run in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Phils, however, scored four more times in the top of the fifth.
CJ Smith, Talan Millage, and Drake Eastman all collected one hit each. Brandon Schmidt had two RBIs, and Sutton Williams had an RBI. Tad Tjaden pitched six innings and allowed an earned run on four hits with 11 strikeouts. Konrad Richeal threw one inning without allowing a hit.
