The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team competed in their final regular season meet in Baltic on Thursday, May 16th. The girls team finished second with 97 points. The boys team placed seventh with 62 points.
Sophia Godwin won the 100m dash in a time of :12.90. Vivica Kreul placed second in the discus and fourth in the javelin. Claire Wynja placed second in the shot put, and Elin Schoenhard was third in the shot put. Clara Justice took fourth in the 100m hurdles. Elizabeth Krantz finished fourth in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump. Rorie Thoreson was fifth in the 1600m run. Claire Witte finished fifth in the high jump. The sprint medley relay team finished second. The 4x200m and 4x400m relay teams finished third. The 4x100m relay team placed fourth, and the 4x800m relay team was fifth.
Mason Stubbe won the 100m dash in a time of :11.36 and also won the long jump with a leap of 21’3.5″. Eli Gullickson was third in the 3200m run. Will Ronshaugen finished fourth in the triple jump. The 4x100m relay team of Stubbe, Cole Ruesink, Nick Snyder, and Jack Henry won with a time of :43.36. The sprint medley and 4x400m relay teams both finished third.
