Junior Sophi Randall hit a milestone during the Quarriers home match against the Lennox Orioles on Thursday, September 28th. Randall reached the 2,000 set assists milestone for her career, and Dell Rapids defeated Lennox in straight set by scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 25-16.
Dell Rapids started the first set on a 9-1 run. The lead grew to 14-4, and the Quarriers cruised to the 25-16 win. The Quarriers turned a one-point, 5-4, lead into a 10-point lead, 14-4, after a 9-0 run. That run kept Dell Rapids in front comfortably the rest of the set on their way to a 25-15 win. The third set started with a 3-3 tie. Dell Rapids then went in front 6-3. Lennox kept the score within two-to-three points all the way to a 16-13 score. The Quarriers then finished the match on a 9-3 run for the 25-16 win.
Randall finished the match with a total of 21 set assists and four kills. Madelynn Henry had 10 kills and nine digs. Lauryn Kloth added seven kills and five ace serves. Elin Schoenhard added four kills. Kylee Fiddelke had three kills and four digs. Alaina Wolff finished with seven digs. Karlie Ingalls had three digs and three ace serves.
