The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys golf team played in two different tournaments on Thursday, September 14th.
Part of the team played in the Elk Point-Jefferson Match Play tournament. During this tournament each player receives points for their team based on what place they get in their group. The Quarrier team finished eighth with 14 points.
Charlie Prasek had a sixth place finish in his group. Drew Buresh, Gage Schultz, and Beckett Nelson all finished seventh. Caiden Bitzer, Connor Jones, Oscar Anderson, and Ryder Van Zee all had eighth place finishes.
The Quarriers also had golfers play in Madison. Dell Rapids finished ninth in that tournament with a team score of 444. Kane Murphy and Kasch Burggraff both had a round of 108. Ben Fortney had a 112. Owen Swaney finished with a 116. Cesar Urquijo had a 127, and Gavin Downs had a 131.
