The Dell Rapids Mudcats earned an 11-0 victory over the Salem Cubs at home on Thursday, June 29th. Dell Rapids scored in every inning they batted in the game before ending it on the 10-run rule after the top of the seventh.
The Mudcats got two runs in the bottom of the first, one in the second, three in the third, one in the fourth, two in the fifth, and two more runs in the sixth inning.
Ty Hoglund had three hits, one a double, and three RBIs. Landon Ruesink also had three hits and three RBIs. Kole Zimmerman finished with two hits. Dalton Lehnen had a double and an RBI. Carter Gullickson, Mark Abrahamson, and Spencer Freudenthal each had a single with an RBI. Kris Regas and Trevor Freudenthal both had one hit each.
Austin Henry started the game and threw two innings with five strikeouts. Lehnen pitched four innings allowing four hits and had four strikeouts. Dusty Haffeman pitched one inning and gave up two hits with one strikeout.
