Dell Rapids 14U pushed their winning streak to seven games after a 14-1 victory at home against Sioux Falls Christian on Thursday, June 29th.
Dell Rapids built a big lead after the first two innings of play. They scored two runs in the bottom of the first and then had a big eight-run second inning. Dell Rapids would get another run in the third and three more in the fourth. Sioux Falls Christian scored their only run in the top of the fifth.
Jackson Peppel had four hits, including a triple and a double, with four RBIs. Gage Bunkers had three hits and two RBIs. Andrew Schoeberl had two hits and two RBIs. Hayden Hansen finished with two singles and an RBI. Jake Heinitz finished with a hit and an RBI. Kaiden Zellmer had a single, and Thomas LaVoy had an RBI. Peppel pitched all five innings and allowed one earned run on one hit with four walks with eight strikeouts.
