The Dell Rapids Mudcats won both games of a double header against the Flandreau Cardinals on Sunday, June 25th at Rickeman Field.

Spencer Freudenthal put the Mudcats in the lead with a two-run double in the bottom of the second inning. Chad Hunt had an RBI single in the bottom of the third for the other Mudcat run.
S. Freudenthal had a double and two RBIs. Hunt finished with a single and an RBI. Ty Hoglund had a double and triple in the game. Dalton Lehnen and Kris Regas both had a single. Regas pitched all seven innings allowing four hits and two walks with 16 strikeouts.
Dell Rapids Mudcats 10, Flandreau 2
Both teams scored two runs in the first inning in the second game, but then Dell Rapids went ahead for good in the bottom of the fourth with two runs. They got another run in the fifth, and then five runs in the top of the seventh to blow the game open.
S. Freudenthal had a home run and two RBIs. Dalton Allen had two hits and an RBI. Lehnen and Regas each had a double and an RBI. Hoglund also had a double. Kole Zimmerman had a hit, and Mark Abrahamson had an RBI. After allowing two runs in the first inning, Allen settled into a groove on the mound. Allen pitched four innings and allowed two runs on one hit and three walks with four strikeouts. Abrahamson pitched three innings and allowed three walks with a strikeout.
