The Dell Rapids Phils winning streak reached eight games after a 10-2 win in Baltic on Tuesday, June 20th. Dell Rapids scored in every inning and built a 6-0 lead on their way to the victory.
Aiden Boechler drove home the first run with a double in the top of the first. Treyse Eastman scored on a passed ball for an early 2-0 lead. Dylan Kindt had an RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the second. Mason Stubbe added an RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the third making the score 4-0. Will Jaton had an RBI single in the top of the fourth. Stubbe drove home another run with a triple in the top of the fifth for a 6-0 lead.
Baltic got on the board with a run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Dell Rapids then scored three times in the top of the sixth. Brayden Pankonen had an RBI double, and then T. Eastman had an RBI single for a 9-1 lead. Baltic picked up another run in the bottom of the sixth. Joe Rechtenbaugh scored on an error in the top of the seventh for the final run.
Kindt and T. Eastman both had two hits and an RBI each. Stubbe finished with a triple and two RBIs. Boechler and Pankonen each had a double and an RBI. Jaton added a single and an RBI. Drake Eastman and Konrad Richeal both had a single. Kindt pitched five innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit and two walks with 10 strikeouts. Jack Henry pitched two innings and allowed an earned run on a hit and two walks with five strikeouts.
