The Dell Rapids High School competitive cheer team is scheduled to make their season debut on Monday, August 29th at the St Mary Invite. The team has two seniors leading the way. Head coach Magen Richeal is in her 20th season as coach for the Quarriers. She listed seventh grader Sloan Prinsen as the underclassman to watch this season.
Even though last season didn’t end like they had hoped, they are looking to take it back this year. The team’s goals include to improve from week to week and stay healthy for the course of the season.
“I am excited to see what this team can do,“ coach Richeal concluded. “We have some amazing seniors and some incredible new talent.”
