August 31, 2020 by Matt Larson, Big Sioux Media

The West Central Trojans recorded their first win of the 2020 volleyball season in their second home match.  West Central hosted the Dell Rapids Quarriers on Thursday, August 27th and won in straight sets by scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-13.

Head coach Kelsi Buckmiller said, “It was great to see the girls come together and bring everything they’ve been working so hard for out on the court!”

Cassidy Siemonsma finished the night with 10 kills.  Rachel Bucher and McKenna Sichmeller both had seven kills each.  Sichmeller also had three ace serves and four blocks.  Taylor Kunzweiler ended with nine digs.  Brooke Opitz had a team-high 15 set assists.
