The Beresford Watchdog girls basketball team cruised to a 68-30 win in Baltic on Friday, December 13th for their first win of the season.
The Watchdogs exploded for 29 points in the opening quarter and led 29-5. Both team tallied 14 points each in the second quarter, and Beresford led 43-19 at halftime. The Watchdogs held Baltic to just a single point in the third quarter to extend their lead to 58-20. Both teams scored 10 points in the final quarter.
Ella Merriman finished with 18 points in the game. Harley Koth added 16 points. Emily Latendresse had seven points, and Makiah Sharpe had six points.
