The Beresford Watchdog boys cruised to their seventh straight win on Friday, January 24th. The Watchdogs defeated the Canton C-Hawks 78-38.
Beresford raced out to a double digit lead in the opening quarter and never looked back. They led 28-15 by the end of the first quarter. The lead grew to 45-20 by halftime. The Watchdogs would also outscore the C-Hawks 17-12 in the third quarter for a 62-32 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Malachi James finished with 26 points, four rebounds, and six steals. Tiegen Nyhaug added 16 points, three rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Aidan Hamm had 15 points and six rebounds. Cooper Nelson ended with eight points and eight points.
