The Beresford Watchdog girls won their third straight game on Tuesday, January 21st. The Watchdogs hosted the Madison Bulldogs and earned a 56-21 win.
Beresford built a double-digit lead by the end of the first quarter and kept cruising through the first half. They led 17-6 going into the second quarter. The Watchdogs outscored Madison 19-1 in the second quarter for a 36-7 halftime lead. Madison was able to get some offense going in the third quarter. They cut the lead to 45-20 going into the fourth quarter, but Beresford held the Bulldogs to just one point again in the fourth quarter.
Ella Merriman finished with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Harley Koth had 15 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Lily Seivert added nine points, five rebounds, and two assists. Kelly Merrigan had four points. Kendra Ellis had three points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
