Beresford Boys Win Final Game at BEC Tournament

There Beresford Watchdogs won their final game at the Big East Conference Tournament on Saturday, January 6th.  The Watchdogs took seventh place in Baltic after a 76-55 win over the Garretson Blue Dragons.

Beresford was in control for pretty much the entire game.  The Watchdogs led 17-11 at the end of the first quarter and extended that lead to 39-25 at halftime.  The offense had a big third quarter, scoring 21 points, as Beresford led 60-41 going into the final quarter.

Four players finished in double figures.  Malachi James had 17 points and eight rebounds.  Andrew Atwood had 15 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals.  Seth James also had 15 points with six rebounds.  Tiegen Nyhaug had 12 points and four rebounds.  Aidan Hamm had eight points and three rebounds, and Jon DeLay had seven points.
