The Baltic 14U team had no problem in Parker on Tuesday, July 8th. Baltic rolled to a 17-4 win in five innings.
The game started with two runs in the top of the first by Baltic. Parker got one run back in the bottom of the inning, but that was as close as they would get. Baltic scored eight times in the top of the second and three more in the top of the third for a 13-1 lead. Parker plated three runs in the bottom of the third, but Baltic responded with four more in the top of the fourth. The game ended on the 10-run rule after a scoreless fifth inning.
Maddex Klein had three hits and an RBI. Braeden Turner had two doubles and three RBIs. Ayden Oschner also had two hits and two RBIs. Hayden Sundermann added two hits. Brody Hansen had a single with three RBIs. Laken Kortemeyer finished with a double and an RBI. Oliver Nedved had a single with an RBI, and Brody Aspass had an RBI.
Kortemeyer pitched two innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Klein also pitched two innings and allowed a hit with three strikeouts. Sundermann tossed an inning and allowed three earned runs on a hit and five walks with one strikeout.
