The Baltic Bulldog softball team suffered a 16-0 setback in Dell Rapids on Tuesday, April 16th. Dell Rapids got one run in the bottom of the first. They then scored six runs in the bottom of the second and seven in the third. The Quarriers ended the game on the 15-run rule with two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Amelia Sinding and Ryah Peters drew walks in the game as the only two baserunners in the game for Baltic. Charlee Blommer pitched two innings and allowed 10 runs, five earned, on four hits and eight walks with one strikeout. Ashlyn Klein pitched one inning and allowed five runs, one earned, on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Peters allowed an earned run on a hit in 1/3 of an inning pitched.
