The Baltic 14U baseball team started Region 4B play in Parker on Monday, July 15th. Baltic cruised to a 19-6 win over Garretson to advance to the second round.
A five-run top of the first inning put Baltic in control from the start of the game. Garretson got two runs in the bottom of the inning, but Baltic exploded for 12 more runs in the top of the second. Another two runs came home for Garretson in the bottom of the inning, and after two innings of play, Baltic led 17-4. Garretson scored one run in the bottom of the third. Baltic added two more in the top of the fourth, and Garretson got their final run in the bottom of the fifth.
Gavin Skotvold had four singles and four RBIs. Ben Berg added three hits and two RBIs. AJ Gruenwaldt finished with two hits and two RBIs. Cale Roach had two hits with an RBI. Braeden Turner also had two hits. Zach Hagleson had a single with two RBIs. Elias Oakley and Brody Hansen both had one hit and one RBI each.
