Baltic Baseball Gets Win in Garretson

Playing their fifth straight road game Sunday, April 14th, Baltic won their second straight game with a 10-5 win over Garretson.

Payton Anderson and Riiker Rogers scored on a wild pitch in the top of the second for an early 2-0 lead.  Riley Schultz added an RBI single in the top of the third to give Baltic a 3-0 advantage.  Garretson took the lead in the bottom of the fourth, 4-3, with four runs.  Schultz and Beau Breece had RBIs in the top of the fifth to put Baltic back on top, 5-4.  Nik Graff had an RBI single, Braxton Allen an RBI double, and Schultz an RBI single in the top of the sixth to extend the lead to 10-4.  Anderson and Rogers scored again in the top of the seventh for a 10-4 score.  Garretson scored one run in the bottom of the seventh.

Schultz had three singles and three RBIs.  Allen ended with a double and an RBI.  Graff added a single and an RBI.  Anderson finished with a double and single.  Tate Feucht had a single, and Breece had an RBI.  Allen pitched five innings and allowed five runs, but just one earned, on five hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts.  Schultz pitched two innings and allowed two walks and had five strikeouts.
