Baltic had two early leads in a baseball game at Dell Rapids on Sunday, April 23rd. Dell Rapids then used a big third inning to earn an 11-2 victory.
Riley Schultz scored on an error in the top of the first inning for an early 1-0 lead. Dell Rapids responded with a trying run in the bottom of the first. After a scoreless second, Baltic took the lead again in the top of the third. Jose Valadez had an RBIl triple to right field for a 2-1 lead. Dell Rapids, however, scored eight times in the bottom of the third and two more in the fourth in their 11-2 win.
Valadez had a triple and an RBI. Gunner Schultz had two hits, including a double. Tayden Hansen finished with a single. Hansen pitched 2 1/3 innings allowing nine earned runs on six hits and five walks with two strikeouts. Tate Feucht pitched 1 2/3 innings allowing two earned runs on four walks with a strikeout. Beau Keith pitched two innings and allowed just one hit and recored a strikeout.
