Big First Half by Freeman Leads to Win over Alcester-Hudson Girls

The Freeman Flyers built a 30-point lead in the first half to help them to a 59-24 win over the Alcester-Hudson Cub girls on Thursday, February 6th.

The Cubs scored the first two points of the game, but Freeman went on a 14-0 run and then ended the first quarter leading 17-5.  The Flyers started the second quarter on a 17-0 run and ended the first half with a 38-8 advantage.  The Cubs were outscored 11-6 in the third quarter, and both teams scored 10 points each in the final quarter.

Emily Winquist finished with 11 points.  Summer Carlson had four points.  Jenna Manning ended with three points.  Ayonna Schissel, Delta Pies, and Devin Hongslo all had two points each.
