The Alcester-Hudson Cub boys basketball team recorded a season-high third straight win at teh Great Plains Conference tournament on Saturday, February 17th. The Cubs defeated the Burke Cougars by a score of 66-55.
Three players finished in double figures for Alcester-Hudson. Dominic Van Egdom had a double-double with 21 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists. Jose Topete-Lopez finished with 17 points and five rebounds. Ethan Bovill added 12 points, two rebounds, and two steals. Mateo Kleinhans ended with six points, three rebounds, and three assists. William Hallaway had four points, five rebounds, and five assists.
The Cubs improve to 9-10 on the year. They will finish the regular season against Lyman on Friday, February 23rd. The game will be played in Ethan at 6:00 p.m.
