The Alcester-Hudson Cubs boys basketball team hosted the Canistota Hawks on Friday, January 5th. The Hawks cruised to a 60-25 victory.
Canistota had a 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter, 18-8. The lead grew to 38-12 by halftime. The Hawks offense continued to roll in the second half. The Cubs were outscored 16-4 in the third quarter for a 54-16 score going into the fourth quarter.
Jose Topete-Lopez had eight points and three rebounds. Dominic Van Egdom had six points and four rebounds. Evan Haak finished with three points and two rebounds. Ethan Bovill, Mateo Kleinhans, Jacob Cole, and Jackson Meyer all had two points each.
