Trojan Track Season Starts in Brookings

The 2026 track season started at the Ruth Marske Invitational at the SJAC in Brookings on Saturday, March 28th for the West Central Trojans.

The 4x800m relay team of Aubrey Borns, Brooklyn Sunderman, Sarah Johnson, and Lucy Rozeboom placed second with a time of 10:08.11.  The 4x200m relay team of Avery Pressler, Vera Jesse, Morgan Haneke, and Baylee Poss took sixth in a time of 1:50.95.

Zach Nielsen had a seventh-place finish in the high jump with a jump of 6’0″.  Peyton Barrick took eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 11.16m.
