Both the West Central Trojan girls and boys teams will be participating in the state meet. The teams both finished in the top three at the Region 2A Meet in Garretson on Wednesday, October 15th. The girls team placed second with 43 points. The boys team was third with 66 points.
Brooklyn Sundermann was seventh individually with a time of 18:44.43. Sarah Johnson took ninth with a time of 19:08.31. Lucy Rozeboom finished 13th in a time of 20:04.59. Sadie Wuebben was 14th and completed in 20:13.75. Aubrey Borns (21st) had a time of 21:27.24, and Addison Jaspers (23rd) finished in 21:30.47.
Peyton Tetzlaff was second overall with a time of 16:13.05. Zach Nielsen placed 14th with a time of 17:22.37. Kyper Hilger was 20th and completed in 17:59.13. Briar Horn (32nd) had a time of 18:51.54. Samuel Spisak (37th) finished in 19:10.23, and Brett Boll (46th) had a time of 20:31.31.
The 2025 State A Cross Country Meet will be held in Huron on Saturday, October 25th.
