Sioux Falls Christian Ends Trojan Volleyball Winning Streak

The Sioux Falls Christian Chargers snapped a three-match winning streak by the West Central Trojans on Thursday, September 11th in Hartford.  The Chargers won by scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-15.

Sioux Falls Christian got out to a 6-2 lead in the opening set.  They extended their lead to 10-4 and then to 19-8.  The Chargers took the win 25-14.  After an early 2-2 tie, the Chargers went on a 6-1 for an 8-3 lead.  West Central pulled within four, 12-8, but Sioux Falls Christian went on a 9-5 run to make the score 21-13 before scoring the final four points of the match.  The Chargers started with a 4-2 lead in the third set and rolled from there.  They pushed the lead to 10-5 and then 16-9 before winning 25-15.

Sophia Gross had 10 kills and three blocks.  Madi Ingalls finished with nine kills and five digs.  Cambree Ideker had 20 set assists and eight digs.  Izzy Mckinney had two kills, two blocks, and one dig.  Ellie Knight finished with 11 digs.
