Trojan Boys Take Top Spot at Chester Track Meet, Girls 2nd

The West Central Trojan track teams traveled to Chester for the Tom Main Track Meet on Saturday, April 26th.  The boys won the team title with 132 points.  The girls finished second with 100 points.

Holly Berg took the top spot in the long jump with a jump of 32’3″.  Vera Jesse placed second in the 100m dash in :13.15.  Aubrey Borns was second in the 800m run with a time of 2:31.43.  Brooklyn Sunderman finished second in the 1600m run in 5:33.75.  Elizabeth Stofferan was second in the 100m hurdles (:16.65) and also second in the 300m hurdles (:51.18).  Bailey Stallman placed third in the 1600m run in 5:58.61.

Patrick Hammond won the 100m dash in :11.41 and placed third in the 200m dash in :23.44.  Rylee Hartung took the top spot in the 400m dash with a time of :53.87 and second in the 100m dash in :11.54.  Zach Nielsen won the 800m run in 2:07.53.  Jonathan Roth won both the 1600m run (4:42.01) and 3200m run (10:45.65).  Evan Jaton was second in the 800m run in 2:16.25.  Dominic Butts placed second in the 110m hurdles (:16.79) and second in the 300m hurdles (:44.55).  Kade Hruby was third in the 1600m run with a time of 5:06.98.  Zach Nielsen was third in the high jump with a jump of 5’10”.  The 4x400m relay team of Brody Johnson, Peyton Barrick, Nielsen, and Butts was second with a time of 3:42.69.
