The West Central Trojan cross country team had their first meet of the season on Friday, August 30th. The Trojans traveled to Beresford for the Beresford Invite. The girls team finished fifth overall with a total of 60 points. The boys team did not have enough runners to qualify for a team score.
Brooklyn Sundermann finished 13th with a time of 20:08.78. Lucy Rozeboom placed 20th in a time of 21:04.59. Sara Johnson was 24th in 21:24.83, and Maelee Krempges was 25th in 21:28.31. Aubrey Borns (54th) finished in 23:20.59. Ellie McDonald (59th) had a time of 23:59.65.
Peyton Tetzlaff also placed 13th with a time of 17:13.84. Kyper Hilger (33rd) had a time of 18:37.80, and Kade Hruby (35th) finished in 18:42.68.
