Trojan Boys Roll Past Canton , Move to 19-0

The West Central Trojan boys basketball team started the game on fire and rolled to a 67-33 win over the Canton C-Hawks on Tuesday, February 17th.

The Trojans raced out to a 26-5 lead by the end of the first quarter.  Both teams scored 13 points each in the second quarter, and West Central led 39-18 at halftime.  The Trojan defense would hold Canton to just five points in the third quarter as they pushed the lead to 55-23 going into the fourth quarter.

West Central shot 54% (31-57) overall in the game, but just 1-14 from three-point area, and 4-8 from the free-throw line.  Canton was 32% (12-38) shooting overall, 39% (7-18) on three-point shots, and 2-4 from the free-throw line.

Three players finished in double figures.  Will Kuhl had 18 points and nine rebounds.  Tanner Wagner had 17 points and six rebounds.  Connor Mebius ended with 15 points, seven assists, and three steals.
