West Central Boys Take Care of Business at Home Against Little Wound

The West Central Trojan boys turned a two-point lead after the first quarter into a 35-point win against Little Wound at home on Saturday, February 7th.

The Trojans led 15-13 after the first quarter, and then their offense really got going.  West Central outscored Little Wound 23-11 in the second quarter for a 38-24 halftime lead.  They would put the game out of reach in the third quarter after outscoring Little Wound 29-6 for a 67-30 score.

West Central shot 57% (30-53) overall in the game, 43% (9-21) on three-point shots, and 9-12 from the free-throw line.  Little Wound shot just 29% (11-38) overall, 25% (5-20) on three-point attempts, and 76% (16-21) from the free-throw line.

Three players finished in double figures for the Trojans.  Will Kuhl had 23 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Hayden Heier ended with 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Connor Mebius added 11 points and nine assists.  Tannger Wagner had eight points.
