The West Central Trojan girls wrestling team took part in the 2026 Yankton Girls Invitational on Friday, February 6th. The team finished with 34 points for a 17th place finish overall.
Three wrestlers finished in the top five. Maci Tiahrt took second with a 1-1 record, earning a pin. Kyliegh Schuller placed fifth with a 4-2 record. Schuller had three pins and a decision win. Hailey Fortney also placed fifth with a 3-2 record. She had three pins.
Brecken Meyer finished 1-2 with a pin. Bella Nelson was also 1-2 with a decision win. Leah Schuller finished 0-2 in the tournament.
