West Central Boys Wrestling Competes in Two Tournaments

The West Central Trojan boys wrestling program sent two teams to two different tournaments on Saturday, January 31st.  One team competed at the Parker Invitational and the other team was at the Lee Wolf Invitational in Aberdeen.

Lee Wolf Invitational

The Trojans finished seventh as a team with 102.5 points.  Caden Roe won the 106-pound class with a 4-0 record.  Kaden Haakinson took first place in the 113-pound division also with a 4-0 record.  Alex Siemonsma finished second in the 138-pound class with a 2-1 record.  Bentley Klinkhammer (120) finished third with a 4-1 record.  Jett Whiting (150) finished seventh with a 1-2 record.  Langdon Klinkhammer (144) also finished 1-2.

Parker Invitational

The West Central team in Parker placed fifth as a team with 129 points.  Grayson Pischke won the 144-pound class with a 4-0 record.  Peyton Barrrick finished second in the 150-pound class with a 3-1 record.  Briggs Robbins (106) was third with a 4-1 record.  Braxton Huber (175) was also third with a 3-1 record.  Kevin Cholopray (157) finished fourth with a 3-2 record.  Braylon Robbins (190) was also fourth with a 2-2 record.

Dallas Barrick (113) and Lane Morgan (132) both finished 2-2.  Luke Larson (215) had a 1-2 record.  Max Lewin (126), Brenden Warne (157), Oliver Gebhard (165), and Nate Struck (285) were all 0-2 for the day.
