Both the West Central Trojan girls and boys wrestling teams competed in the Rapid City Invitational that was held on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th.
Hailey Fortney had an eighth-place finish with a 4-3 record on the weekend. Kyliegh Schuller finished with a 2-2 record.
The boys team finished 10th as a team with 108 points. Karson Vessells took second in the 126-pound class with a 4-1 record. Brody Gossen also finished second in the 132-pound class with a 4-1 record. Caden Roe was third in the 113-pound division with a 5-1 record on the weekend. Bentley Klinkhammer took sixth in the 120-pound class with a 4-3 record. Langdon Klinkhammer placed seventh in the 144-division with a 5-2 record.
Spicer Johnson (106) had a 2-2 record for the weekend. Jett Whiting (150) finished 1-2. Braylon Robbins (165) and Nate Struck (285) were both 0-2.
