The West Central Trojan girls soccer team played two matches in the last week earning a win and a draw. The Trojans hosted both Garretson and Sioux Falls Christian.
On Thursday, September 18th, the Garretson Blue Dragons traveled to Hartford to play the Trojans. West Central’s defense put together a shutout and earned a 3-0 victory. The Sioux Falls Christian Chargers also traveled to Hartford on Tuesday, September 23rd. West Central got a goal in the first half and led 1-0 at halftime. The Chargers were able to get an equalizing goal in the second half to tie the game 1-1. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
West Central currently has a 6-3-2 record. They will host the Groton Tigers on Saturday, September 27th and then host Mitchell on Thursday, October 2nd to finish the regular season.
