The West Central Trojan boys golf took part in the Elk Point-Jefferson Match Play Tournament at The Pointe Golf Course in Elk Point on Thursday, September 18th. The Trojans finished second overall with 70 total points. Dakota Valley also had 70 total points, but won the tie-breaker. Sioux Falls Christian placed third as a team with 54 points.
West Central had three players finish first in their pools. Aiden Lanham, Connor Mebius, and Bubba Kono all took first place and earned 12 points. Karson Olson and Chase Mebius placed second in their group for 10 team points each. Marcus Peterson and Adam Johnson each finished fifth for six points. Axel Lanham had a seventh-place finish for two points.
