West Central Boys Soccer Captures Two Wins

The West Central Trojan boys soccer team earned two match wins on back-to-back days.  They hosted Custer on Friday, September 12th and then hosted Hot Springs on Saturday, September 13th.

The Trojans built a big lead in the first half against the Custer Wildcats.  They scored three times for a 3-0 lead at halftime.  Custer was able to get one goal in the second half, but the Trojan defense held strong to earn a 3-1 win.  Dominic Butts had all three goals for the Trojans.

The offense for West Central continued to roll against the Hot Springs Bison.  The Trojans scored two times in the first half for a 2-0 lead.  They added three more goals in the second half and blanked the Bison 5-0.  Butts and Kevin Cholospray each had two goals.  Jack Empey also had a goal.

West Central is 3-5-1 on the season and will host Vermillion on Thursday, September 18th and then will travel to Huron to play James Valley Christian on Tuesday, September 23rd.
