The West Central 17U Gold fell to Canton 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday, July 8th. The two teams combined for just three hits in the game. Canton scored seven times in the opening inning and then added three more in the bottom of the third. The game ended on the 10-run rule after the fifth inning.
Taylan Sichmeller had the only hit for West Central. Noah Erickson pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed nine runs, four earned, on two hits and six walks with four strikeouts. Kash Garry threw 1 1/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on no hits with three walks and one strikeout.
