The West Central Trojan track teams finished their 2025 season at the 2025 South Dakota State A Track and Field Meet held in Sioux Falls Thursday, May 29th through Saturday, May 31st.
Brooklyn Sunderman finished seventh in the 3200m run with a time of 11:37.43 and placed 14th in the 1600m run in 5:30.78. Mara Schultz was eighth in the shot put with a throw of 34’11.25″. Abbi Thornton had a 10th-place finish in the long jump with a jump of 15’8″. Holly Berg was 13th in the triple jump at 33’4.25″. Maelee Krempges took 14th in the long jump with a jump of 15’3.25″. Elizabeth Stofferahn finished 14th in the high jump with a leap of 4’11” and finished 21st in the long jump at 14’6.25″. Sarah Johnson took 21st in the 3200m run in 12:48.33. Aubrey Borns placed 23rd in the 800m run in 2:26.65. The 4x100m relay team of Rayna Goehring, Baylee Poss, Avery Pressler, and Vera Jesse finished third in a time of :50.11. The 4x800m relay team of Borns, Lucy Rozeboom, Sunderman, and Cambree Ideker was fifth in 9:53.83. The sprint medley relay team of Goehring, Poss, Borns, and Sunderman was 23rd with a time of 4:33.11.
Petyon Tetzlaff placed fifth in the 3200m run in 9:47.74 and seventh in the 1600m run in a time of 4:30.74. Liam Schmeichel was sixth in the 110m hurdles in a time of :15.04. Jonathan Roth was eighth in the 1600m run in 4:31.41 and 11th in the 3200m run in 10:11.43. Zach Nielsen placed 15th in the 800m run in 2:02.28. The 4x200m relay team of Preston Butts, Rylee Hartung, Dominic Butts, and Elliot DeJong finished second in 1:29.63. The sprint medley relay team of P. Butts, DeJong, Hartung, and Roth was second in 3:37.28. The 4x800m relay team of Evan Jaton, Zach Nielsen, Tetzlaff, and Roth placed sixth in 8:18.25. The 4x400m relay team of D. Butts, Brody Johnson, Nielsen, and Hartung placed eighth in a time of 3:46.51.
