The West Central Trojan track teams took part in the Tri-Valley Last Chance Meet on Thursday, May 22nd. The girls team placed second with 87 points. The boys teamp laced fifth with 81 points.
Mara Schutlz was second in the shot put with a throw of 35’3″. Abbi Thornton was second in the long jump at 15’3.75″. The 4x100m relay team of Rayna Goehring, Baylee Poss, Avery Pressler, and Vera Jessa was second in :51.10. The 4x800m relay team of Aubrey Borns, Brooklyn Sunderman, Lucy Rozeboom, and Cambree Ideker was second in a time of 10:01.13. Jesse took third in the 100m dash in :13.05. Poss was third in the 200m dash with a time of :27.49. Elizabeth Stofferahn was third in the high jump with a jump of 5’0″. Holly Berg took third in the triple jump at 32’10”. The 4x200m relay team of Goehring, Poss, Pressler, and Jesse placed third in 1:47.88.
Zach Nielsen placed second in the 800m run in a time of 2:06.07 and third in the high jump with a leap of 5’10”. Jonathan Roth was second in the 3200m run in 10:15.51. The 4x200m relay team of Preston Butts, Rylee Hartung, Elliot DeJong, and Patrick Hammond was second in 1:32.27. The sprint medley relay team of Chase Stromer, Dylan Bettcher, Brody Johnson, and Evan Jaton took third in 3:58.54.
