Trojan Softball Rolls Past Lennox

A six-run first inning is all the Trojans needed in a 13-1 win over the Lennox Orioles in Lennox on Thursday, May 1st.

Lennox got their lone run in the bottom of the first and trailed 6-1 after the first inning of play.  The score remained 6-1 until the top of the fourth.  The Trojans added four more runs to extend the lead to 10-1.  They would get three more in the top of the fifth.  The Orioles were held scoreless in the bottom of the fifth inning, and the game ended on the 10-run rule.

Elisabeth Miller had three hits, two of those doubles, with two RBIs.  Sophie Rolfson also had three hits, including a double, and one RBI.  Kadence Lupkes ended with two hits, including a home run, and five RBIs.  Ayla Kramer had two singles with an RBI.  Izzi Parsons added two hits.  Paiten Schuldt had a home run and an RBI.  Miley Travis had a single with an RBI.  Addy Kunzweiler had a single, and Briauna Hoff had an RBI.

Miller pitched all five innings and allowed an earned run on three hits and a walk with 11 strikeouts.
