The West Central Trojan track teams competed in the Mike Seivert Relays in Alcester on Tuesday, April 22nd. The girls team placed second with 84 points. The boys team had a fifth place finish with 53 points.
Brooklyn Sunderman won the 3200m run with a time of 12:08.03 and finished third in the 1600m run in 5:36.15. The 4x400m relay team of Cambree Ideker, Addison Jaspers, Maelee Krempges, and Aubrey Borns won with a time of 4:15.93. Holly Berg was second in the 100m hurdles in :17.90. The 4x100m relay team of Rayna Goehring, Baylee Poss, Vera Jesse, and Avery Pressler was second in :51.73. The 4x800m relay team of Lucy Rozeboom, Sunderman, Bailey Stallman, and Addison Jaspers was also second in 10:11.17. The sprint medley relay team of Goehring, Poss, Ideker, and Borns placed second with a time of 4:26.48. Abbi Thornton was third in the long jump (15’3″) and triple jump (31’7.5″). The 4x200m relay team of Goehring, Poss, Jesse, and Pressler took third in 1:49.51.
Peyton Tetzlaff won the 3200m run in 9:52.82. The 4x400m relay team of Preston Butts, Elliot DeJong, Dominic Butts, and Patrick Hammond won in 3:32.71. The sprint medley relay team of P. Butts, DeJong, Hammond, and Jonathan Roth took the top spot in 3:41.20. The 4x100m relay team of Boche Knight, Keenan Hacket, Hammond, and P. Butts was second in :45.10. Knight placed third in the long jump with a leap of 18’9.5″.
