The West Central Trojan track teams took part in the Lennox Invite on Thursday, April 17th.
The 4x100m relay team of Rayna Goehring, Baylee Poss, Vera Jesse, and Avery Pressler won with a time of :52.86. The 4x200m relay team of Goehring, Poss, Jesse, and Pressler also took the top spot in 1:51.42. The 4x800m relay team of Aubrey Borns, Lucy Rozeboom, Bailey Stallman, and Brooklyn Sunderman won in a time of 10:15.25. Addison Jaspers placed second in the 800m run with a time of 2:40.13. Sunderman was second in the 1600m run in 5:37.46. Sarah Johnson finished second in the 3200m run with a time of 13:16.66. Abbi Thornton was second in the long jump with a jump of 16’1″. The 4x400m relay team of Borns, Cambree Ideker, Addison Jaspers, and Maelee Krempges finished second in 4:24.15. Mara Schultz placed third in the shot put with a throw of 34’8″. Holly Berg was third in the triple jump with a jump of 32’3.5″.
Preston Butts won the 200m dash with a time of :23.09. The 4x800m relay team of Evan Jaton, Zach Nielsen, Peyton Tetzlaff, and Jonathan Roth won in a time of 8:24.57. Patrick Hammond placed second in the 400m dash with a time of :53.75. Roth was second in the 3200m run in 10:21.11. The 4x400m relay team of Butts, Elliot DeJong, Rylee Hartung, and Hammond finished second in a time of 3:40.95. Hartung finished third in the 200m dash in :23.68. DeJong was third in the 400m dash in :53.88. The sprint medley relay team of Chase Stromer, Carson Eich, Brody Johnson, and Gavin DeHaven placed third in 4:11.99.
