The West Central Trojan girls won their fifth straight game and evened their record at 8-8 with a 67-29 win over the Webster Bearcats at the Dak-12/NEC Conference Clash in Madison on Saturday, February 8th.
The Trojans grabbed the lead early in the game and never looked back. They jumped out to a 23-10 lead by the end of the first quarter. They extended the advantage to 35-17 by halftime. West Central really put the game out of reach by outscoring Webster 19-8 in the third quarter for a 54-25 lead.
Four players finished in double figures. Rayna Goehring had 17 points. Abbi Thornton had 14 points. Ellie Knight, named the game’s MVP, finished with 11 points. Kacey Jaton also ended the day with 11 points.
