The West Central Trojan girls and boys wrestling teams competed in the 2024 Madison Invitational Tournament on Saturday, December 21st. The girls team finished 12th with a total of 37.5 points. The boys team finished fifth with a 129.5 points.
Hailey Fortney took second with a 3-1 record in the tournament. Kyliegh Schuller placed fifth with a 2-2 record. Kayla Pageler had one win in the tournament. Leah Schuller and and Brylee Garry also competed in the tournament.
Brody Gossen won the 120-pound weight class with four wins. Alex Siemonsma finished second in the 126-pound division with a 3-1 record.
Karson Vessells (132) took third with a 3-1 record. Caden Roe (106) finished fourth with a 3-2 record. Langdon Klinkhammer (144) was fifth with a 3-2 record. Keaton Vessells (157) also finished fifth with a 4-2 record. Bentley Klinkhammer (113) had a sixth place finish with a 1-3 record.
Hayden Whiting (150) finished with a 2-2 record. Cain Grocott (190) also had a 2-2 record.
