Both West Central Trojan cross country teams are headed to the state meet. The girls and boys teams both placed second at the Region 2A meet at Meadow Creek Golf Course in Volga on Wednesday, October 16th. The girls team had 46 points. The boys team finished with 40 points.
Brooklyn Sundermann finished eighth with a time of 20:05.10. Lucy Rozeboom took 10th in a time of 20:32.50. Sarah Johnson was 12th and completed in 20:47.20. Aubrey Borns was 16th with a time of 21:28.00. Maelee Krempges was 17th in 21:33.80, and Addison Jaspers took 19th in 21:46.30.
Jonathon Roth had a fourth place finish in 17:10.50. Peyton Tetzlaff was sixth in 17:22.00. Jacob Peterson finished 13th in 18:22.40. Zach Nielsen placed 19th and completed in 18:40.40. Kade Hruby was 20th in 18:42.00, and Kyper Hilger was 27th in 19:26.80.
The state meet will be held at Hart Ranch in Rapid City on Saturday, October 26th.
